8 Great Green Technology Blogs You Should Be Reading

The majority of green tech news isn’t reported in mainstream media. To get info on green products, green technology advancements, and any kind of green stories, the world is reliant on the internet. These Green Technology Blogs are the cream of the crop. Any news that is reported here is usually pulled from one of these sites so check them out, add them to your RSS feeds, and always, add us too!

1. TreeHugger - It’s really hard to top TreeHugger for Green News. Forget about the stellar writing, just the volume of stories and freshness alone makes it probably the biggest Green Blog out there.

2. EcoGeek - Not as frequently updated as TreeHugger but usually with more researched articles. A lot of stuff on EcoGeek that you don’t see everywhere else. If they updated more often, they could easily be number one in my book. EcoGeek is definitely one of my favorite blogs of all-time.

Green Automotive Technology

3. AutoBlogGreen - The definitive in everything Green Auto.  Everything from Hybrid releases, to info on the politics of Green Autos.

4. GreenCarCongress - Green Car Congress is the first place to go when doing any kind of research on Green Auto news or policy. A more analytical and less image-heavy approach than autobloggreen, but still a great blog.  Check out both blogs.

Green Products

5. TheGreenGuide - The Green Guide is the most extensive resource for finding out about new green products that are hitting the market. Everything from home and garden to kids products.

6. GreenYourDecor - One of the coolest green blogs with a very universal appeal. Is all about furnishing your home with eco-friendly products.

*Honorable Mention - ThisIsGreen.com - A great green product site. A bit more commercialized and not really a “blog” as much as a product site. Still lots of cool stuff

Green Technology Industry

7. EcoTechDaily - Eco Tech is a news/tech resource site. Could probably be listed with the other news sites, but it’s a bit more high-tech than the others. A very cool resource for those more immersed in green technology.

8. GreenTechMedia - Another high tech blog. This one features a lot of news about green technology, green investments, companies, etc. Another great resource for people in the industry.
